Fit now, or when..?
Fit parenting can happen. It's not easy, and it won't happen overnight, but I'm hear to help navigate the waters of living the healthiest life possible -- without spending $$ on a gym membership or pricey, trendy food.
Fitness means many things -- and it's not just about fitting into your skinny (or pre-baby) jeans. Fitness is how you feel physically, emotionally, spiritually, and heck -- even financially! This blog is a place to find exercise tips and quick workouts when you can't leave the house. Hey, I'm a huge fan of yoga classes, and losing myself in daytime TV while I pound the treadmill at the gym, but, as a stay-and-work-at-home mom, I realized getting to the gym on a regular basis just doesn't work for me. I needed to find ways to get and stay fit at home, where I spend the majority of my days.
As a journalist and mom, fitting in fitness is a daily, moment-by-moment challenge. I wake up with the best of intentions every day, and I often stumble (er, ice cream bars under deadline is not uncommon), I strive to get fit in all part of my life. Let's "fit in" fitness together!
