And that's a good, good thing *but* it means I have some blog upping to do (my term for "blog catch up").
Since I am in the throes of a nice little assignment boost, it's no surprise coffee is one of my dearest allies these days. How do I like it? I'm not gonna lie -- both my hubs and I had bit of a Dunkin Donuts problem. We'd hit up our neighborhood DD for a large, iced, dark roast with caramel swirl WAY too often. So we are massively cutting back and just making it ourselves -- dollars saved and bodies healthier.
So now, we cold brew our own at home. I've been savoring these glasses of deliciousness over ice and with just a tablespoon of half-and-half or sweetened condensed milk. Yessss.
I discovered this recipe on The Pioneer Woman, and I *love* it. I highly recommend getting yourself a bag of Cafe Bustelo -- it's dark, but not too earthy. Perfect for your afternoon (er, mid-morning, anyone?) pick-me-up.
Sip on, comrades! How do you like your cuppa? Comment below!
Love and FIF,
