As I write about family, I wanted to make sure you have a visual of mine. This is us! My husband, Rich, and our girls Katerina (5) and Annika (2). Rich and I have been married eight years and have lived in three different cities during that time. He jokes that his 60 days of vacation time dwindled rapidly during our first year of dating because we traveled the globe! We like to think we are raising our girls to be citizens of the world since they have a lot of air miles already under their belts.

Katerina is in Kindergarten, and she loves to craft, read, swim, do gymnastics, and sing. Annika is my sidekick most of the time, and she goes to preschool two mornings a week. She loves her big sister more than anyone, loves to build, climb, take care of her pet fish and read books. They are both innately empathetic and have smiles that brighten any space they’re in!
